Hello, my name is Ann-Katrin and I love papercraft.

This is a blog about all my ideas and all my finds about papercraft, scrapbooking, cardmaking, photos and so on. I love papercraft and I love to try out new things, new technics and I don’t feel that I have one defined/certain style. I make my layouts with inspiration from the pictures, from new papers, from colors, or maybe from an advertisement. And when I do make a layout; I try to follow a theme.

More facts about me; I live in Norway togheter with my husband, our lovely daughter and our sweet little pussycat named Simone. I was born i 1980 (ops, soon 30… oh my!), grow up in the wood on the countryside and meet the man of my life when I was 15 years old (yes, and now we are married). I started with stamping in 2003 (orded a lot of stamps from UK and USA) and started scrapbooking in january 2005.  In nowember 2005 I started a scrapbooking-onlinestore, and in july 2006 we moved the store to Drammen, Norway.  In january 2007 we went to CHA in Anaheim, California, USA. That was a big event. Loved to see all that papercraft and equipment. In july 2007 we decided to close the store. I had a fulltime-job and didn’t manage to do all the things I wanted with the store. And because the store took all my sparetime, I didn’t see my family and friends. But I learned alot of having the store. No regrets. I loved the time and are so happy I decided to open this store. I also meet so many new people and a lot of them are still my friends.

I august 2007 we got married, january 2008 we where pregnant and in october 2008 I gave birth to a little girl called “little M”. And in april 2009 I started scrapbooking again. Finally I got some time to this hobby and finally I got a lots of pictures (of course of little M). So now I am shopping, looking for inspirations and making some layouts. All of this I will share with you.

I am also teaching scrapbooking-classes ( had a lot of classes in my store); for beginner, technics, playing with paper and more. If you want me to teach in your store or together with some friends, just contact me: post@papirhobby.no
